About Me

Alanis is a model based in New York City. She works mainly as a commercial, swimsuit, hair, and lifestyle model. Growing up she considered herself a book worm. She was always lost inside a book and focusing on her studies. When she was 12 years old, she was chosen as a United States Ambassador for the Sister City Foreign Exchange program to Budapest, Hungary. This sparked her love for traveling.

Alanis moved on to receive a bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering and urban planning and design.

"I was walking back home from a career fair in Brooklyn. I was stopped by a hairstylist. He asked if I could be his hair model. After that I kept going to open calls and landing the jobs. Modeling saved my life. I started working-out more,  and eating healthy." 

Alanis aims to continue to expand her modeling career by following her passion for beauty, travel, the arts, and yoga. She completed an intensive 500-hour yoga teacher training across the remote mountains of Costa Rica and Spain. Afterwards, continuing studies at the Harvard Medical School Meditation and Psychotherapy: Self- Transcendence and Non-duality. Her professional development is characterized by integrating embodied contemplative practice with modern scientific approach. This can be seen through her work in modeling, acting, and UGC.
